Igneous Granite
A few ways that igneous rocks can be classified as are that they rarely have any fossils in them, they are not layered, and they are usually made up of more than one mineral. Granite is made of Feldspar, Quartz, and Mica. Igneous Rocks can either be intrusive or extrusive. Granite is intrusive. Granite is found in India, USA, and Spain.
Sedimentary Sandstone
The way that sedimentary rocks are classified are that sedimentary is just sediments tightly packed together. After compaction of sediments, it turns into sedimentary. For sandstone, it is just sand sediments packed tightly together. Sandstone is found in South Africa.
Metamorphic Slate
Some ways that metamorphic rocks can be classified as are that they rarely have any pores or openings, and many are just made of one material. Slate is made when shale is effected by heat and pressure. Slate can be found in the United Kingdom and Spain.
