Monday Update
March 16, 2015
Good morning!
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I've been enjoying the warmer temperatures, even if it means lots of muddy towels from wiping dog paws.
I've sent out invitations to the ACRL Virtual Conference sessions I plan to watch. If the BI room is available during those times, I'll plan to be in there. If not, I'll be in my office. Please consider joining me for one, some, or all.
If you haven't taken the survey regarding my MLA Academic Libraries schedule, please do so by Wednesday. I'll be closing the survey then. I appreciate everyone who has participated. Looks like I'll have an interesting conference.
Due to lack of information, there will not be a monthly staff update. If you have anything to share, I can always include it in the next Monday Update.
We will have a staff meeting this Friday afternoon. If you have any agenda items, please get them to me by Thursday morning. I plan to send the agenda out Thursday afternoon.
Have a good week all!

Upcoming LITA Webinar on making videos
From the webinar description:
This brand new LITA Webinar promises a fun time learning how to create instructional videos
Have you ever wanted to create an engaging and educational instructional video, but felt like you didn’t have the time, ability, or technology? Are you perplexed by all the moving parts that go into creating an effective tutorial? In this session, Anne Burke and Andreas Orphanides will help to demystify the process, breaking it down into easy-to-follow steps, and provide a variety of technical approaches suited to a range of skill sets. They will cover choosing and scoping your topic, scripting and storyboarding, producing the video, and getting it online. They will also address common pitfalls at each stage.
