SBISD Character Without Question Award
The SBISD Character Without Question award was designed to identify one student from each campus as a person of outstanding character. Those selected are recognized for making a difference in their school, in their community, and in the lives of others. These students prove that character counts and will be honored at the Annual Character Without Question Award Ceremony at the February Board of Trustees meeting.
The following Meadow Wood students were nominated by students or staff members for this award. All of these students are seen as those who consistently demonstrate strength in character and are positive role models for other students. We recognize the helpful influence they have in our school and community. The following group of students and their parents will be honored at a special event in the near future at Meadow Wood.
Fifth Grade:
Ford Givens, Myles Gunsolley, Hunter Biehl, Emerson Berg, Sarina Botary, Emma Sullivan, Ben Pearce, Javier Denson, Bennett Fry, Shahdad Shahal, Thomas Pawulski, Rafe Williams, Aaron deLeon, Blake Berry, Gavin Mundwiller, Raymond Blair, Yousef Ahmed, Caden Cooper, Gabriel Gonzalez, Gabriel Bercian, Hallie Spaulding, Mallory Taylor and Katherine Cronin.
Several children were selected for an interview based on the character rubrics completed by their teachers. The students selected for the interviews were Myles Gunsolley, Emerson Berg, Emma Sullivan, Sarina Botary, Ford Givens, Ben Pearce and Hunter Blalock. The MWE Character Without Question Committee facilitates the selection process for this award and had the very difficult task of selecting one student to represent MWE. The committee selected Ben Pearce to have the honor of representing MWE at the SBISD Annual Character Recognition Ceremony on February, 2018. We are very proud of this outstanding group of students!
