A&M Football
The Texas A&M Aggies Football team represents Texas A&M University in American Football. The Aggies compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the Western Division. Texas A&M football claims three national titles and eighteen conference titles since becoming a charter member in the Southwestern Conference in December 1914. The team plays all home games at Kyle Field, an 82,589-person capacity outdoor stadium on the university campus. Kevin Sumlin is the current head coach of the Aggies.

Sports Information
The success of the 2012-2013 Texas A&M football team was unprecedented, with the team finishing fifth in the nation with an 11-2 record and the second Heisman Trophy® in school history. And off the gridiron, Aggie athletics teams made themselves known in the “League of Champions,” as the women’s basketball, women’s tennis and women’s outdoor track and field brought the Lone Star State its first ever SEC championship titles. In addition, the men’s track team brought home the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Championship
Aggie Sports success
Texas A&M Athletics is committed to "Building Champions" through academic achievement, athletic excellence and national recognition of student-athletes, teams and programs. Texas A&M's almost 650 student-athletes compete at the NCAA Division 1-A level in 20 varsity sports.
Mascot
Reveille, the first lady of Aggieland, is the official mascot of Texas A&M University. She is the highest ranking member of the Corps of Cadets being the only bearer of five silver diamonds.
