VSCA Spring Fling Workshop (Reg 3)
Fredericksburg, VA
Hocus, Pocus, Focus to Find Your Own Spot!
Come join us at Mary Washington University, STAFFORD campus, for a fun and informative day of professional development to add new tools to your school counseling toolbox!
Start the day with Liz Parker, School Counselor in Henrico County Public Schools and 2014 ASCA School Counselor of the Year finalist, and Christina Vitek, School Psychologist in Henrico County Public Schools, for "Hocus, Pocus, Focus!" to learn tips and tricks to help students struggling with executive functioning skills of attention and focus.
After lunch, get your originality on with Phyllis Hollimon! "Be a Polka-Dot and Find Your Own Spot!" Super Elementary Counselors, Super Middle School Counselors, and Super High School Counselors...get excited and become transformed! Creative lessons and activities to help your students discover their spot; I guarantee you'll leave this session with a lot. Stories, secrets, and shopping too...this Spring Fling session was created just for you. My eighth graders loved this theme; their evaluations read... thanks for helping us reach our dream! Take aways and handouts to use the next day...you'll never look at shopping the same way!
