Cougars Stay Connected!

Hello Robinson Families,

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Our Robinson Staff is thankful and grateful for the connections with our students and families. Thank you for staying connected to our school.

  • If your family or your child need support, please reach out to Harmony Shepherd, Kayla Allen, Ariana Bruno for help. (608)361-2800.
  • We look forward to seeing you again on Monday, November 29.
  • As long as your child is healthy, please encourage showing up to class when school is in session. Every day of school is an important opportunity for students to learn as well as connect to peers and their teachers.

Robinson is proud to announce that it received an overall score of 60.2 - three stars (meets expectations) on the State Report Card as released by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Public Instruction, this past week. Despite the challenges of Covid and online learning last year, our staff and students worked hard and persevered. A big thank you goes out to our families who help their child to be ready for learning each day!

One final reminder: Masks are to be worn at all times while in the school building except while eating/drinking, or during nap time for 4K students. Please send a mask to school with your child each day. The district has a very limited supply of masks to give out. If you are able to donate a supply of masks, Robinson would be willing to take them! Thank you for your help.

Have a wonderful weekend with your family and friends.

Regards,

Mrs. Kelly Kaminski

MASK Update

All staff, students and visitors must wear a mask while inside the building. Please make sure you are sending a mask with your student(s) each day. The district has a limited supply of masks and we do not have enough to give to students each day.

Helpful Tips:

  • Keep a mask in your students’ backpacks. Try to store it in the same pocket each time so they get used to knowing where it should be.

  • Send your student(s) with multiple masks to school in case they lose one or it breaks.

  • Wash fabric masks with warm water and soap, then leave to dry overnight.

Meet the English Learners (EL)Team at Robinson

Ariana Bruno - Bilingual Home/School Liaison

Carina Casique - ELL Language Acquisition Teacher & Bilingual Program Liaison

Stephanie Cantu - ELL Bilingual Para-Educator

Robinson is very proud to be a Dual Language Immersion School. This program follows the Two-Way Immersion Model, which affords students whose first or dominant language is Spanish the support needed to access the curriculum in a more comprehensive manner. This program also affords students whose first or dominant language is not Spanish an opportunity to learn the language while still learning grade-level curriculum.

Our EL Team is here to support your child/family. Do not hesitate to contact any of the team members: (608)361-2800.

TREATS & SNACKS

In an effort to continue to promote safety, ALL treats and snacks brought into Robinson MUST be store bought items. It is preferred treats be individually packaged. Teachers will use safety protocol to hand out treats (gloves, sanitizer, masks).

In addition to this, students are recognized at Robinson during their birthday week. They are called down to the office on Fridays to receive a special surprise from the Principal. We ask that families celebrate their student's birthday at home and refrain from bringing in balloons , flowers etc. to school. Store bought birthday treats are still welcome! Please arrange this with your child's teacher ahead of time.
