Month in Review
April was a great month! It is hard to believe this school year is already over. We learned about saving, spending and earning money. We discussed ways to make money and potential jobs for the future. Students learned about the 3 step plan and how to make a budget. We learned about Earth Day and the importance of taking care of our planet. We went to the park this month. We also turned water bottles into piggy banks and planters. Students read about the new Jungle Book movie as well as the Frozen Ride that is opening at Epcot this summer. Our foodie Friday treats included Dirt, pizza monkey bread, trail mix and Nutella and strawberry roll ups. Mrs. Anderson class also made homemade ice cream. It was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun! Our character trait for the month of April was Principled. Students learned about acting with fairness, honesty, integrity and being respectful. Students learned to take responsibility for their own actions and consequences.
