4AB Math Class
With Ms. Ramsey 05-05-17
Dear families,
MAP testing will continue next week. It will be super important your child is at school no later than 7:53, so they do not have to wait in the long tardy line. Please make sure they have a good night of sleep and a hearty breakfast.
Next week we will continue with measurement with area and perimeter. Your children are doing very well understanding the concept. Please refer to Chapter 12 in the textbook for practice problems. If you scroll to the bottom of this newsletter, you will find a silly song I use to teach students the difference between area and perimeter.
On May 11th, the students will take a cumulative Geometry Test covering chapters 9-14. The students will be asked about 4-5 questions per chapter and the skills and material will be all mixed up. I do feel confident they should do well because I know they understand the material. However, most of the time I see students make careless errors and do not check their work. Please continue to remind them to do this!
We are coming to a strong end of the year. I am so thankful for you continual support. I am so proud of how far we have come, and I am proud to be your child's teacher!
All my love,
Ms. Ramsey
