FlashBots Middle School Robotics Club

Coach Kristen Ray recently had a special guest in her robotics club. Mr. Jim Bentley, President of IMES International, came to the robotics meeting to see the club's progress, discuss strategies for building a robot, and strategize their mission completion. He discussed his role as President of IMES International and talked to the students about how their involvement in STEM activities will help to ensure a successful job in the future. He presented the club with a $500 sponsorship for the 2018-2019 season. His visit was a unique treat for the FlashBots!

The Mighty Warriors of Callahan Intermediate School got pumped up for their fundraiser by having a Warrior Fun Run Pep Rally!

During the Pep Rally, the students were greeted with music and the West Nassau Warrior Football Players and Cheerleaders! The students were dancing and cheering along throughout the event!

The Mighty Warriors participated in their Warrior Fun Run fundraiser on October 26th! Students ran on an average of 35 laps to raise money for our school. The 5th graders had an extra surprise...they participated in our Warrior Color Run! The students had an amazing time and Dr. Cason and Mrs. Clark even got their laps in!
