With the new spooky month comes new spooky themes! This week is a short week and our theme is Monsters (friendly ones)! We will spend our 3 days this week reading fun monster stories, making cute monsters in art, and integrating monsters into our math, fine motor, literacy, and circle time activities.

We have a new letter! Our new letter is H. We will be working on its name, the sound it makes, and how to write it. If you'd like to support your child at home with the correct way to write the letter, see the Handwriting Without Tears kit that was sent home. Please note that we did not send these with our 3 year olds yet because we are working on more age appropriate skills like writing different types of lines with them.

Our new number focus for the month is the number 2, and our shape is square.
