Clark Authors Visit
We are preparing in the library to welcome author Marsha Forchuk Skyrpuch to Clark October 19. Mrs. Skyrpuch is visiting Clark as well as several other Conroe ISD intermediate schools. Below is a link to the order form if you would like to read more about her as well as order books for your student(s). She will sign the books during her visit to Clark and students will then receive them. The deadline to place orders is Monday October 9. After Monday you may purchase books on your own and have our child bring them to the library to be signed. When ordering online it will indicate the order is for pickup. I will be picking all orders so all you have to do is order online. Easy peasy!
We have been fortunate in our feeder zone to host phenomenal authors over the years and Mrs. Skyrpuch is another amazing author our students will love. Author visits are made possible thanks to your support during library book fairs. Thank you!

Transportation Information
Things to keep in mind -
- CISD does not offer transportation to students who live less than a mile from the campus.
- Parents or guardians must submit an Alternate Stop Request Form each school year for service to an alternate stop. Students who are not eligible for transportation services may not be allowed to request or utilize an alternate stop. Parents can request an alternate stop when you register your child for transportation.
- Transportation cannot change addresses for students. Please contact our PEIMS Clerk, Mrs. Jordan (cjordan1@conroisd.net) for address changes or corrections. Once the address change has been made, it takes about 48 hours for Transportation to process the change.

SMART Tags
6th Grade students will continue to use their SMART tag badges that were issued during the 2022-2023 school year to load and unload buses.
5th Grade students and students transitioning to new campuses will receive a new badge. These badges will be distributed once the school year begins. CISD will only supply the ID cards as students are expected to use their lanyard and plastic sleeve from the previous year. Students in intermediate school are not required to wear the badge all day, however, they should be connected to the backpack for access on the bus.
