Newsletter's cold

Do you want to build a snowman's been a cold week! We have been stuck inside most the week due to cold temperatures. All the kids keep working hard and are doing a wonderful job. We have worked on oral blending, vowels, sound of O, H and T. The are experts on initial and final consonants, and reviewed sounds and letters. We did some beanbag counting, shape printing, and treasure maps for math. We made mittens, and finger painted some snowmen for art and enjoyed playing with homemade playdoh. Talking, drawing, writing is going great. We read: Dream Boat. The kids illustrated what they dream about and did a fantastic job writing their word/sentence. We are almost through the entire alphabet. We will soon be starting on lower case letters. We continue to work on number recognition and ordering. I am so pleased with how far all the kids have come so for this school year. I enjoy watching them grow and learn new things each and everyday. We will be celebrating our 100th day of school next Wednesday. Enjoy your long weekend.
