What's Happening?
Thank you for coming to Curriculum Night. If you were unable to attend, please follow the link below to review the presentation. I am also sending home the paperwork from the evening. Please complete the Room Mom form and return it to school on Monday.
Our school Fundraiser starts TODAY! We are raising money for Chromebooks and other technology equipment.
The school-wide reading program will start the week after Labor Day.

What are we learning?
Math (Mrs. Lee's Class): Reviewing for up coming test. The tentative test date is Wednesday, 9/4.
Science (Mrs. Lee's Class): We will be reviewing for the unit test on cells. Students will receive their study guide on Monday. We will discuss it on Tuesday. The test will be on Thursday.
Social Studies: Turn of the Century - Panama Canal and Immigration
Writing: narrative writing - drafting and revising; compound and complex sentences
Reading: Learning to think analytically about what we read, quoting from the text when we write about what we read
Word Study: a, ab, abs roots - quiz on Friday
