A Note From the Principal
Our 2018-2019 school year is off to a fabulous start! Our faculty and staff have been preparing all summer for our students. Our school is alive with positive energy and excitement! We appreciate the ongoing support from our Wabash Community.
This year, we will focus our students on The Wabash Way - Being Respectful, Responsible, Caring and Safe! Please discuss these important character traits with your children. Our students are excited to show excellence on a daily basis. I am proud to report that our students are striving for excellence! Together, teachers and parents will challenge our students to work to their full potential. I know our students are up to the challenge!
Please remember that Mrs. Price, Mrs. Polman and I are always available to support you and your children. Please do not hesitate to stop in, call or email us with any questions or concerns. We are here for your children.
Every Student Matters, Every Moment Counts!
Mr. Schulte
LATE START SUPERVISION
2018-19 LATE STARTS and SUPERVISION...The WSD will once again be providing supervision for K-6 students who need to be dropped off at the regular start time on scheduled Late Start Days in the 2018-19 school year. This is separate from our Before Care Program through Chautauqua, so if you are registered for Chautauqua, please DO NOT register for Late Start Supervision.
The fee for students in grades K-6 is $10 per child for each late start day you would like to register for. (Middle and high school students may still be dropped off at the regular start time and there is no fee for that supervision and no need to register).
Please fill out the Registration Form: https://goo.gl/forms/Q9yc9h90nTqqAoa42 first prior to paying. If you choose to use PayPal, there is a sliding scale charge assessed to cover processing costs. You also have the option to send a check in to your child's school.
In order to arrange for adequate staffing at our elementary buildings, you must register and pay before the deadline for each late start day. You may pay for more than one late start day at a time and we will send reminder emails prior to each late start day.
Late starts provide valuable collaboration time for our teachers across the District and yet we understand these days can be a challenge for working parents especially. The supervision option was established to assist those parents who need it. Additional information about late start supervision for students in grades K-6, as well as the link to pay via PayPal, can be found on the District website: https://tinyurl.com/WSDlateSTARTS.
