The Heights Choral Society

Join us for this unique opportunity

Announcing the inaugural season of The Heights Choral Society

We are pleased to announce the formation of a unique singing ensemble for men, women, couples, and/or alumni, but most especially to foster and rekindle friendships through music. This would be a great opportunity for those couples that love to sing. No auditions are necessary so please sign up and join us. We will meet at The Heights School in Chesterton Hall from 730 to 9pm on Monday nights. The cost to participate will be 55 dollars per person. This fee helps cover the expense of music and overhead for the ensemble. The Choral Society will be under the direction of Dr. Kevin L. Strother with Mrs. Jane Houlihan as accompanist. The goal for this ensemble is to bring people together in our community through music. Our musical focus will be on both sacred and secular choral works. What we do and the future of this ensemble depends on you and your desires as a singer. If you are interested in joining us please fill out the form by January 20th. http://goo.gl/forms/zaWlhvZVG8 I look forward to seeing you on Feb. 1st. If you have any question please feel free to contact me at kstrother@heights.edu.

Make a resolution to make Music this New Year!

Why are you forming this new choir?

Have you ever wondered what it's like to sing in a choir like your son? Or do you miss the opportunities you had in college or high school? This ensemble has been formed to create an opportunity for parents and alumni to participate in a choir.

Do I have to read music?

This would be nice, but it is not necessary. It's a great opportunity to learn.

Will we perform?
Yes, we'll have a Spring concert and Fall concert. Each are separate seasons, you just need to commit for one season.
