Awaken the brain and transform limitations

The Anat Baniel Method for Children is a non-medical, learning-based approach. The approach to the work reflects the evolution of Anat Baniel from her close interaction with Moshe Feldenkrais and her long experience in the work with children with special needs. ABM has helped thousands of children with special needs by using its cutting edge neuroscientific approach.

Reassume the necessary "conversation" between the child's brain and their environment

Intensives lessons

These groups of lessons focused on a few days, provide a powerful learning environment for the child .This allows us to improve more clearly the skills of movement and care of the child. Thus we can see, in a way more close, the changes that have occurred and immediately work on those aspects (movement, cognition, emotion or relationships) that will enable it to take its next step of progress.Experience tells us that this intensives allow the child to achieve maximum results in a short time.

The lessons do not last more than 45 minutes, which according to studies, is the optimal extension of time that the brain can learn before needing a rest. For parents who travel from afar, usually series of between 8-10 lessons are scheduled over a period of 4-7 days. The child receives 2 lessons each day. This formula often is followed by those who live in the place of the practitioner, although each case is different depending on what the child needs.

The movements and techniques that contain these lessons help your child awaken and organize their own intentionality and consciousness of themselves in the world that surrounds them. We believe that this is due to the activation and reinforcement of the sustained phase of learning of your entire nervous system.

About ABM practitioners today

From her apprenticeship with Moshe Feldenkrais and her 30 years of experience, Anat Baniel, developed a rich body of theoretical and practical knowledge that she synthesizes on the "9 essentials". This combination of experience and practical and theoretical knowledge oriented by the 9 essentials are at the base of the remarkable outcomes that the practitoners from the Anat baniel Method witness on a daily basis with the adults and the children with special needs they work with.

“What I have discovered in the many years I have worked with children and adults with cerebral palsy, is that the human brain, under the right conditions, has the enormous capacity to create new patterns and organize the brain in ways that lead to recovery of function... often way beyond what is normally deemed possible”.
