THE RHE RATTLER
February 24, 2021
A Note from Mrs. Frankhouser
We are working to get back on track here at school while respecting people's needs. If you have a need or a hardship, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are here to help.
Don't forget that if you would like your child to come to school in person for the last nine weeks of school, the Instructional Status Change Form is due THIS FRIDAY. It is my hope that we will be able to accommodate everyone's needs without too many changes this time. We'll know after Friday what the needs are.
THANK YOU
Yearbooks Still Available!
Here are some answers to some frequently asked questions that I am hearing.
1. Will we have to make up the days that we missed during the snow event?
No. We do not have to make up those days due to bad weather.
2. Is March 5th still a student holiday and staff professional development day?
Yes. March 5th is still a staff development day. Students will not have school.
3. Is March 12 still an early release day?
Yes. We end school at noon. There will be no extended care. Please go into SMARTTAG and let us know how your child will get home that day.
4. Field day is March 3rd and 4th. How do remote students participate?
Field day will consist of outdoor activities in small groups for one hour and 45 minutes per grade level. We would like to invite Remote Rattlers to participate in-person if you would like to. In order to be able to plan appropriately, we need an RSVP for your. Remote Rattlers can fill out this form by Friday, February 26 to RSVP for field day.
We ask that students bring water. Lunch will not be served. Sadly, we can have no parent visitors or volunteers at this time. Parents of Remote Rattlers will need to bring students at the beginning of the event and pick students up at the end of the event.
