Principal's Office
Here is our Roadrunner Weekly for the week of February 25th through March 1st. This upcoming week is "Read Across America" Week in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday on March 2nd. We have lots of fun spirit dress up days and other activities planned, so see the "Week at a Glance" below for more details. Most of all, we just encourage you to read, this week and every week, with your kids! That, along with regular attendance, is the most important thing we can do for our kids to have them on the path to academic success!
And speaking of attendance, we've had a lot of students out with various illnesses over the past few weeks. While we appreciate everyone's cautiousness, I did want to remind folks that unless your child has had a fever of a 100 degrees or more or has been throwing up within the previous 24 hours, we strongly encourage your child to be at school. If they continue to feel really crummy, we'll send them home. Nothing can make up for actually being at school!
Please continue to visit our teacher websites regularly to keep current on homework assignments, weekly projects, and events. Also, i-Ready is an important at home skill-building tool, so please encourage your child to continue using it for 45 minutes or more per subject, per week to stay sharp on their math and ELA skills.
Have a great!
