Week 26 March 14th-18th

***Parents please make sure you have your child read as well- they can access on G Classroom, our class website, or read through your email. Thank you!***
Happy Weekend! Please see below for just a few notes/reminders. Thank you!

P.S. For more pictures of our classroom activities and class party see our shared folder here. A HUGE thank you to our room parents, Mrs. Rodgers and Mrs. Solomon, for making our class party a blast!

Most students are finished or wrapping up their Solar System Inquiry projects so I am extending it one more week so students who need to finish it can do it for homework. Students may bring in their projects beginning Monday and we will present all week. All projects are due on Friday. Students also need to complete their weekly Lexia goal for homework. Please see homework schedule for more information.

Students should continue to focus on math facts fluency, being able to memorize their multiplication facts and know them "quick as a snap." Please see the "Math Facts Checkup Assessment" sent home last week to see how your child is doing towards the year-end goal. I highly encourage students to practice math facts at home as well- there are many fun ways they can practice (please see note home).

Country Fair Basket Donations Needed: Tour de France

Thank you to those who have shared donations for our Country Fair Basket. Our classroom theme is Tour de France. Each student brought home a letter and envelope with info about a week ago. We'd love any donations you would be able to send in. It could be cash donations that Hilary Devrome (Dylan's mom) could use to purchase some great items for the basket, or you could send in anything that you think would be fun to include in the basket.

If you know of any community or corporate contacts to request donations from, please let Hilary know and she will get in touch with them.

Thank you SO much for taking this on for Planet Dixon Hilary! We appreciate you!
