Over the next few weeks, we will be learning about how to take care of our hearts, spreading the message to friends and family, and helping others when we can! The American Heart Association will be coming to our campus on 02/08/16 to share Heart Healthy messages to kick off our event.
The American Heart Association’s goal is to improve the cardiovascular health of Americans. They will challenge our kids to start living a healthy lifestyle now to prevent problems later; and give them an opportunity to participate in a service learning project that funds the fight against heart diseases and stroke – #1 and #5 cause of death in our country.
© Any student who registers at heart.org/jump and raises at least $150.00 online BEFORE the kick off presentation will be honored at the kick off and receive Toby (pictured)! All donations must be received by 6pm the day before the kick off.
Please join us in teaching our students the importance of being heart healthy for life!
Valentine's Day Information
Valentine's Day Party
We will be having our Valentine's Day Party on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 2:00
to 3:00pm. We are asking for each student to bring in an item for our party.
Your child should have brought home a paper today with their item on it. If they were absent, they will get the letter Monday.
If your child would like to share Valentine's Day cards with other students, we ask that they include a card for everyone and have them completed prior to the party day. Please keep in mind that peanuts are not allowed into our classroom.
