SAFETY ALERT: Buses and Drop off Line
Rountree Parents,
Effectively immediately, the Allen ISD Transportation Department, including school buses, will require and enforce the use of the bus safety stop sign in our drop-off line. It is imperative that we honor and follow this safety stop. Cars will be required to stop when the bus stop sign is activated. Enforcement will also come from our local police department throughout our school zone.
Parents, please plan accordingly and prepare for longer wait times in the drop-off line. Also, please be mindful of the traffic flow as you pull into oncoming traffic. Patience will be a necessity.
Thank you for adhering to this safety alert as we strive to keep all of our children safe by honoring the traffic laws and the policies of our district.
Thank you!
Lara Utecht, Rountree Principal
