May Bobcat Newsletter
Together We Rise so All Our Bobcats Will Achieve Success!
Bobcat Parents,
It is hard to believe we only have three weeks left in this school year, but as I reflect, my heart is so happy because we have so much to celebrate. For example:
- Our scholars have worked hard all year long.
- Our scholars received numerous awards in academics, sports, and fine arts this school year.
- We have the hardest working faculty and staff who work tirelessly to love on your children to ensure All of Our Bobcats Achieved Success.
- Our Teacher of the Year, Mr. Chase, is the SISD Secondary Teacher of the Year and will move on to the regional competition.
- Finally, thank you, parents, for ensuring that your child is in attendance and ready to learn every day.
"Together We Will Rise," and "All Bobcats Will Achieve Success."
Friendly Reminders:
- Please download the May calendar for all end-of-the-year activities.
- If you still need to, please complete your child's online registration to include all necessary documents. We will be full next year, so we want to make sure your child reserves their spot.
Warmest Regards
Mrs. Castro

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Socorro ISD has developed a list of questions and answers to openly share information and proactively answer questions regarding students and employees returning to school and work for the 2021-2022 school year. We know our stakeholders have many questions, and we will do our best to answer all in a timely manner, but we ask for your patience as our team continues to work through the many issues that must be addressed. Rest assured that we will update this list and communicate with you often as information becomes available and as we seek additional guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Texas Education Agency (TEA) and local health and government officials.
