Caldecott and Newbery Awards Announced!
At the end of January every year, the biggest national 2018 book awards are announced. My two favorite that I like to share with students are the Caldecott and Newbery. The Caldecott is a picture book award given to the best illustrator and writer from 2018. The Newbery is typically given to a chapter book published in 2018 that made the biggest impact on children's literature. Below are the winners!
