Residency Verification
This is important residency verification information for Students in Grades 3, 6, and 9.
MSDWT requires the parent or legal guardian of each student to provide valid residency verification within the boundaries of Washington Township at the time of enrollment and when a child is returning to an MSDWT school and entering grades 3, 6, or 9. If your child is entering one of these grade levels during the 2022-2023 school year, you are required to provide verification that is current and valid for the upcoming school year. There are two ways to provide the appropriate documentation to your child’s current school:
Option One
- Upload the appropriate documentation (listed below)
- Visit the district website https://www.msdwt.k12.in.us/registration/ and email the appropriate documentation to the contact person listed for your child's current school
- Visit your child’s current school in-person to provide the appropriate documentation to the front office
Acceptable Documentation Includes:
(1) document from section A & (1) document from section B:
Section A
A current mortgage payment book or statement
Homewoner’s insurance statement
Property tax statement
Warranty deed
Valid lease agreement
Section B
Utility bill
Paycheck stub
Government document
Bank statement
Current bill
Indiana driver’s license or state identification
If you are residing with a Washington Township resident, all parties must complete a Residency Verification Affidavit Form. This form is available through the school social worker. Please provide the requested documentation to your child’s current school on or before Friday, April 29, 2022. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Forces in Motion - Learning Under the Sun (This Camp takes place at FH)
Learning Under the Sun
JUNE 6 – 17
Learning Under the Sun (LUS) is a summer enrichment day camp with an emphasis on STEM (sciences, technology, engineering, and math). The program is for students ages 9-13. LUS has been offering fun summer programing for MSDWT students for over 30 years. The program is run and taught by experienced MSDWT elementary and middle school teachers. This year, students will have the opportunity to learn about forces in motion and how it relates to the real world. The 2-week (10 days) day camp will include opportunities for students to participate in fun learning activities including jump rope contests, paper airplane contests, marble roller coasters and programming robots! Additionally, almost every day, there will be a field trip to learn more about how science relates to the real world around us! Field trips this year include but not limited to: bowling, ice skating, state parks, swimming, roller skating, a college visit, an Indianapolis Indians Baseball game AND MORE!.

Car Rider Line Reminders
AM/PM
***It is helpful if your child can exit and enter your car at the door that is closest to the Fox Hill sidewalk.
AM
Students should have items ready to go (mask on, backpack, lunch bag, etc.) before exiting. Students should WAIT for the FH staff member to release them from their car.
***Car rider drop off line concludes by 8:30 am. Families dropping off after the car rider line has closed, must park in the front parking lot. Parents must walk their student to the foyer of FH to sign in.
PM
***Please have your car tag is hanging from your rearview mirror - number side facing forward
***Car rider pick up line up concludes around 3:40pm. If you are not at school by that time, you will need to park in the front parking lot and come to the front office to retrieve your student. The front office closes at 4pm.
***We are asking families not to park and walk up to the car rider line or walk to the front office to bypass the car line. We only allowed this accommodation for the first 3 days as dismissal processes were being fine-tuned. The office does not dismiss car riders from the office area during school dismissal time, 3pm-3:40pm. If you have a special circumstance in regard to walking, please contact Mrs. Beard.
