CLINIC NEWS
What's new this week?
- SSO self-report for students who test positive for COVID-19
- Updated guidance regarding quarantine for close contacts of positive household members.
- COVID-related absences are excused
My child tested positive for COVID-19.
Please use the COVID-19 Positive Self-Report, found here: COVID-19 Positive Self-Report - Conroe ISD to enter your student's positive results as soon as possible. If you have difficulty signing in, or using the Self-Report, please call us so we can assist you. Contact the front office and/or your child's teacher to report their absence.
My child is well, but someone in our household has tested positive for COVID-19.
Beginning 9/3/21, students who are close contacts of household members (siblings, parents, etc.) who test positive are required to remain at home for 10 days following the last close contact with that person. Please keep your child at home, and call the clinic to discuss the timeline for return.
Will my child be marked absent?
COVID-related absences for isolation and quarantine are excused. Sometimes an absence initially shows as unexcused, and is corrected after 24 hours. If you feel an absence has not been recorded correctly, please let us know.
I want to say thank you for all your efforts to observe our guidelines--this helps to keep school open for our students, their families and our community. The 'Can My Child Go to School' chart has been updated to reflect this week's changes. Please consult this infographic: Can My Child Go To School Chart (conroeisd.net) if your student is having symptoms, or someone in your home tests positive, and contact the clinic if you are unsure about next steps.

At the end of the month, one student from each class will be selected for demonstrating that month’s character trait. Our character traits for the year are as follows:
Aug./Sept.- Respect
October- Responsibility
Nov./Dec.- Gratitude
January- Citizenship
February- Caring
