F.L. Moffett Primary
"Teach Us | Love Us | Watch Us Grow" December 2023
Dear Parents & Guardians,
The first semester at FLM has been filled with events and opportunities for students to learn and grow. The Faculty and Staff at FLM works hard to provide opportunities that make learning fun and memorable during the students' primary years while providing quality instruction. Our campus focus has been on improving every students' literacy and math skills.
Thank you for your support in helping students get adjusted to the routines, procedures, and expectations for a great year of learning. We enjoyed having our parents and guests join us again for our Storybook Character/Alphabet Parades and Christmas Programs this semester. Everyone had a great time during the holiday season with the different activities including a visit from the classroom Elves, the Grinch, and Santa Claus. We hosted our 3rd annual Cookies & Cocoa Community event and gave away free books to students in the community. Hopefully you and your family were among the 500 guests that participated in this fun holiday event. We will continue to work on reading and math skills during the second semester. With your support, we will help our students meet a high level of academic success! Remember to read to your children each day to help improve their comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary. Great readers are made on the laps of the adults that read to them regularly. Have a great break and Merry Christmas to you all!
