SKIP Fun Night

Help SKIP raise money for our Nodaway-Holt Elementary SKIP organization. On April 1st they will be hosting an elementary fun night for the students to play basketball. During the event they will have raffle items on display for anyone and everyone to enter a chance to win!!! All funds raised go back to the teachers and students.


Below are a few activities that they sponsor for our elementary:

  • All students attended the play at the Missouri Theatre
  • All students were able to see a movie at the Hangar for Christmas
  • Funds provided to each teacher for prizes and incentives to use in their classrooms
  • Sponsor Kool Kats on back-to-school night and last day of school for all kiddos to enjoy
  • Raised donations and money for winter coats, snow pants, boots, hats, and gloves

New Elementary Secretary

I'm pleased to announce that Megan Morrow will be our new elementary secretary. She will be the voice on the other end of the line when you call now, and the face you see when you come into the elementary. We are excited to have her as part of our elementary family!

Elementary Dance

April 14th all Kindergarten through 3rd graders are invited to attend our first elementary school dance! Sponsored by Elementary Stuco from 6-8pm! There will be light snacks and refreshments. Casual or formal wear if you wish. Parents are not required to accompany their child but are more than welcome to if they would like! Dance will be held in the elementary gym.

MAP Testing Dates

We will be conducting MAP testing this spring. 5th Grade will begin testing for the Science portion of the MAP test on April 26th & 27th. 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade will begin testing for the ELA portion of the MAP test on May 2nd - May 4th. Those grade levels will finish up testing on the Math portion of the MAP test on May 9th - May 11th.

Spring Book Fair

The spring book fair is quickly approaching!! It will run from April 18th - April 21st, and it is the BOGO book fair!

Spring Music Concert

Parents can be looking ahead to the upcoming Spring Concert on May 4th (Star Wars Day), starting at 6pm! The Spring Concert will feature many fun tunes, and even a 4th Grade Recorder ensemble! We hope families and friends will attend!

Menu Changes

As we approach the end of the school year, there may be changes made to the lunch menu from time to time. We will communicate these changes as we can, and appreciate your understanding with this.
