DIXONS KINGS ACADEMY
Integrity - Diligence - Civility
Cultures, Values and Structure of our School
Dixons Kings Academy is part of the Dixons City Academy Trust. Dixons Kings is the 8th academy to have been acquired by the Dixons group since January 2015. It has been on its present site in Lidget Green since is opened as a Free School in 2011.
All the Dixons Academies run independently whilst forming a main Academy group. Each individual school has their own three values. Here at Kings everyone upholds the three values of Integrity, Diligence and Civility.
By Integrity we mean doing the right thing and keeping true to your moral principals. Diligence is the necessity of giving attention to detail in order to avoid error and overcome obstacles and Civility is about showing everyone consideration and respect.
By up holding these three values our students will be unique and successful.
Organisational Structure
Here at Kings a Flat Line Structure is in place, which involves layers of management. Each line manager has a responsibility for a group of people within their faculty or team, thus enabling delegation of tasks making problem solving more effective and quicker to rectify.
