MVtv Special Report: Spotlight Night
Announcements & Updates
- Today, a school safety drill was conducted to practice the district’s processes and procedures in the event of an emergency. We successfully completed a shelter-in-place and MERT (Medical Emergency Response Team) drill with all students and staff. This was routine, and there is no reason for alarm or concern. Throughout the school year, we will continue to send notifications confirming the completion of a school security drill.
- Congratulations to the following Mountain View students for their recent achievements:
- Soul Kim, for advancing to "Challenge 2" of the 2023-2024 Hardest Math Problem contest.
- Rohan Largman, for being named MPAC Music Student of the Month
- Chris Barnicle, for his 3rd place finish in the West Morris Junior Women's Club Spelling Bee

Fifth graders will be eligible for Honor Roll in the second semester (marking periods 3 & 4).
- All Spring sports physicals (Baseball, Softball, G/B LAX) and related paperwork are due by Wednesday, February 28 to be cleared by Dr. Porter on March 4. Please refer to the Student Athlete Information page for instructions and links to all forms. Tryouts are scheduled to begin the week of March 11. Please note that a sports physical submitted for a fall or winter sport may have expired. If you are unsure, please reach out to Mrs. Austenberg.
