As we prepare to start a new school year, there are some updates I want to share. First, please note that breakfast and lunch through the school are no longer free. You will need to add money to your child's account if you would like for them to eat a school meal. For more information, please see the FAQs from Food Service below. For those students who eat breakfast at school, they will be eating in the gym/cafeteria once again so breakfast will no longer be taken to the classrooms to be eaten.

For new parents to GRE who will be dropping off and/or picking up your children from school, please see the carloop procedures attached to this email. For returning parents, these have not changed. For all car riders, please remember to place a file folder on your visor or dashboard with your last name written in large letters and your child's first name. This helps tremendously at pick-up.

For the first day of school, parents are welcome to walk their children into school and to their classrooms. However, please understand that it is in your child's best interest for you to walk them in, take a quick picture if you choose, and say goodbye. The faster they get into their new routine, the better. For new parents to GRE and parents of kindergarten students, we have a treat for you! After you drop off your child, please stop by the Art classroom for breakfast provided by our PTO. See below for information on our BooHoo Woohoo Breakfast!

A big THANK YOU goes out to our PTO for all they have done to help us kick off the school year! The sweet treats at Sneak Peek were a big hit (provided by the PTO) and they are hosting the BooHoo WooHoo Breakfast in addition to organizing our spirit wear orders, trash bags sales, and much more! We would love for you to become active with our PTO! There are no fees to join so all parents are already members. If you would like to know how to get involved, please mark your calendars for the first PTO meeting on Monday, August 29 at 6:30 at GRE!
