Science Safety

Science Lab Rules
This week, we learned alot about science safety, so here are some of the rules I learned!
Always get teacher permission before doing any lab work.
Never touch, taste, smell, or mix chemicals unless your teacher tells you to do so.
Never use broken or chipped glassware.
Don't dispose of chemicals down sink drains, and always throw away broken glass in the special trash can.
I hope you learn something from this, and enjoy it too!
This symbol means emergency eyewash. This is where you go if you get a chemical in your eyes.
This symbol means flammable. You should be very careful around objects and materials with this symbol.
This means that substances could be harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly. You have to make sure to put all chemicals in the chemical waste basket.
