5-6.5 ounces of Protein

No more than 7 teaspoons of Oils/Fats

In order to manage your blood sugar levels you need to monitor them regularly about 2 times a day. You do not want your blood sugar levels getting high or else you will get Hyperglycemic(whenever you have too much sugar in your system) and you do not want that. If your levels are high then you will know to not consume as much sugary drinks or foods because you want the levels to go down to a normal range.

Exercising

There are several different ways you could go about working out. But just as long as you get a total of 45-60 minutes of working out a day you should be fine. You can do several short periods of working out to add up to the total time or you can do the entire 60 minute workout.

A Nutritionist is a very important person to talk to because if you are ever questioning your diet and the foods that are recommended you should talk to them and they can help you anyway they can over it.

A Psychiatrist is another good person to talk to if you are having emotional problems over diabetes. It is common for you to have emotional problems from diabetes because it changes your life and for some people its hard to adjust to it.
