Fine Arts Night
On May 16, we will have our second annual Fine Arts Night. Lisa and Joel have been working hard to be ready to show off the talents of our children. Lisa has been matting projects and displaying the artwork late several evenings. Joel has been working his choir and with the help of Emily Paulsen, auditioning talent show hopefuls. Thanks Lisa, Joel, and Emily for your help showcasing the genius of our children.
End of Year Checklist
We will be sending the list out next week. This time of year is a great time to purge, If you haven't used it in the last couple of years, let it go!
Conference
I will be out of the office next Monday and Tuesday. I will be at a school safety conference in Indianapolis. Please contact me via text or phone call for any sub. needs.
Grand Marshal
Next Friday is our KINDY 500. The kindergarten teachers have chosen David Ward as the Grand Marshall. I can't think of a better choice. I am asking that you please wear your blue David Ward shirts next Friday with your jeans to show David we continue to support him!
Staff Appreciation Week
What a great week. Each day was filled with various items to help show appreciation for your efforts. If you didn't gain a couple of pounds this week you have very strong willpower.
Valerie's Vision
Danke Schön
This week, we thank all staff for all the time, effort, energy, and dedication you contribute to our students and school. Mr. Lord always says the most important job of a principal is to hire a great staff. I'm pretty confident that our family of staff members is the best around. Thank you for being a part of one of the most essential organizations in our society. Without each and every one of your expertise set, personalities, passions, and heart, we simply wouldn’t be as amazing as we are today.
I am a firm believer that we are in these servant roles to make a difference in one person's life. Whether you are aware or not, your continual interactions with students and staff make easily make a difference.
With only a few weeks left of school, this week, I encourage you to remember that there are students and staff that have been changed by your actions, words, and presence. Strive to finish off this year positively affecting as many in our school family as possible.
