News and Notes from the Principal
Happy Friday! Next week we welcome February, can you believe it? While the year is certainly progressing at record pace, we still have quite a few upcoming events, activities and opportunities for learning left this school year. Be sure to stay plugged in to all the happenings through our weekly newsletters, Social Media Accounts, Website and text alerts!
While we have been in school for over 6 months, it is important for the safe practices that we have established to continue in order to maintain safe opportunities for learning. Please be mindful if your child is sick, experiencing symptoms and/or tested COVID positive or awaiting a test result they should NOT be attending in person schooling. We have virtual options for students in such predicaments to include those that may be quarantined - please continue to help us in this capacity. In the case of a close contact quarantine, students should be logging into their Google Meets at the prescribed times to stay on track with learning!
I hope that your weekend ahead is restful and relaxing. Check out the upcoming athletic events and more below as there is always an opportunity to exercise your Wildcat Pride by cheering on one of the many teams, attend Fine Arts functions or engage in a number of the other activities that we have planned.
Take Care out there! See Ya, Love Ya, Bye!

Health & Safety Reminders:
- If your child is unable to attend school due to COVID-related symptoms or an exposure to someone with COVID,please be sure to contact the school to speak with the nurse: (tparker@bryan.k12.ga.us or dfoster@bryan.k12.ga.us) - All attendance related notes should be submitted to Ms. Carolyn Oetjen via email at (coetjen@bryan.k12.ga.us)
- If your student is not feeling well, please do NOT send them to school. With concurrent learning they have the opportunity to take advantage of the curriculum even when not present - they can log into their google meets.
- Face Coverings are to be worn at ALL times while on campus, when lunch is not being consumed.
- Congregation before/after school is strongly discouraged. If we want to maintain in-person schooling it is important that we ALL work together to make this happen.
- eLearners are expected to follow the same schedule and meet the same expectations regarding timely arrival, interactions, assignment completion, etc. as their in-person counterparts.

Seniors are responsible for remembering their scheduled appointment, and excusing themselves from class for the meeting. To avoid repeated interruptions, counselors will not be calling into classrooms for seniors to make their appointment. Click Here and reserve your time at the bottom left hand side of the webpage.
