Voters Approve 2016 Sheldon ISD Bond
On Saturday, May 7, Sheldon ISD voters approved the passing of the 2016 Sheldon ISD bond. The measure passed with nearly 70 percent of the vote.

Coach Price Selected to Receive 2016 Zoe Simpson Coach of Influence Award
Congratulations to Coach Don Price. He was contacted by the East Houston Fellowship of Christian Athletes and selected to receive the 2016 Zoe Simpson Coach of Influence Award.
Coach Price will be honored at their banquet on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Second Baptist Church in Kingwood!

Garrett Gators Turn Into Gator Scientist During Field Trip
On Wednesday, May 4th Ms. Glover's 1st grade class participated in a field trip with the Houston Zoo and The Nature Conservancy at the Texas City Prairie Preserve.

KHS Band to Perform with Professional Ensemble OmniBrass
The C.E King High School Band will be presenting a joint concert with the professional ensemble OmniBrass on Tuesday, May 24 at 6 PM in the KHS Auditorium. Admission is free and end of the year band awards will be presented.
KHS Hot Air Balloons
Last month, all KHS & ECHS chemistry students built a hot air balloon. The hot balloon was crafted with seven sheets of tissue paper, along with glue, glue sticks and/or masking tape.
