Choir Update:
- As you may already know, Mr. Whitescarver has moved to the Jr./Sr. High School to serve as a music teacher and Vocal Music director. At the elementary level, we are finalizing the onboarding process with our new music teacher, Ms. Kate Coyne! In the interim, Mr. Whitescarver will continue to serve as Elementary Choir director until Ms. Coyne is able to start. We are excited that Mr. Whitescarver will be with us for one more concert, and that he also will transition the choir to Ms. Coyne. Below is a Google Form link to sign up for choir this school year for grades 4-6. We have also attached the Elementary Activity Form for your convenience. Rehearsals will start this Thursday at Glenview!

Book Fair
- The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Haddon Heights, October 17-22. We are so excited to have all the newest books that your children want. This year we will also have some time for parents to shop. We can’t wait to get books in students’ hands! We do need volunteers to help. If you are interested in helping, please reach out to Kim Peek (kimglot@gmail or (856)465-7245) or Lauren Parker (lparker3574@gmail.com or (856) 534-4249.)
- Information went home regarding Schoolstore.net. This is an easy way to raise money for Glenview and individual classroom teachers.

Lessons of the Week!
Mrs. White and Mrs. Finocchio's 1st Grade
Mrs. White and Mrs. Finocchio's class used proper spacing within a sentence. These "chefs" used "spaghetti and meatball" spacing while writing their own sentence. "Spaghetti" spaces are for in between letters, while "meatball" spaces are used between words. This group of chefs definitely cooked up some good looking sentences!
Mrs. Schuster's 4th Grade
Mrs. Schuster's 4th grade class described characters, setting, or an event from the novel "Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing". Students selected from a choice board to work on their descriptions and share in their groups!
