Safe Halloween Celebrations

We hope our families have plans for a safe Halloween. The merchant trick or treat opportunity as well as the costume contest at Stovers Landing Parking lot sound like a great time for students. CES will continue with a normal learning day, except for a small parade celebration at 2:00 pm on the playground. Students may bring their costumes and put them on after lunch. No weapons or pretend weapons will be allowed. Masks may only be worn while the class is participating in the parade. If you would like information or tips to review with your child for a safe Halloween experience, you can visit the National Safety Council's website at this address: . Finally, we kindly ask that students keep all of their collected Halloween candy at home. Thank you.

Chester Youth Wrestling Room Needed

Chester Youth Wrestling, under the leadership of Coach Jason Pleau, is in need of a wrestling room/garage/vacant business to hold their wrestling practices. The mats have to stay unrolled, and practices will be held in the early evening (5:00-ish). CES does not have any space to accommodate Coach Pleau's wrestling room. If you know of a possible location please contact Coach Pleau at 530-249-6169.
