U.S. Statistics
-Cattle: 27 billion pounds, annual pricing is about $5 per pound
-Hogs: in 2008, hog meat was about .75 cents per pound per pound
-Sheep: in 2005, produced about 1.5 million pounds, in 2008, sheep meat was about .70 cents per pound
Cuban Statistics
-Cattle: they produce and raise cattle but the U.S is still the second main exporter of Cattle products.
-Hogs: has about 2.5 million, they don't raise enough hogs and import about 42% of their pork from the U.S.
-Sheep: It's more for subsistence farming instead of looking to sell and making a profit.
