Cabbagetown Ladybugs Newsletter

Keeping you in the know about classroom events

Hello ladybug families!

This newsletter is designed to keep you updated about upcoming events and dates in the ladybug class. Earlier this year I explained the role of class parent. Some of the responsibilities include: class librarian, creating meal trains, helping to organize class nights, informing you of educator birthdays, and planning two class socials.

The newsletter will contain quite a bit of information (some easy to forget) so you will continue to receive reminder emails about important events.

Educators Wish List

This semester the Ladybugs have been learning about elephants. If you have any elephant references (books, pictures, statues, etc) that you would like to contribute to the class it would be greatly appreciated.

The educators are also in need of mini pumpkins and gourds for the children to paint the weeks of Oct 19th and 26th.

Please join us for a relaxing morning in the park. There will be activities for the children but feel free to bring games, toys, or picnics, if you so choose. I hope to see you there.

Let's Celebrate

Our wonderful educator Amanda's birthday is Friday, November 20th.

It would be lovely if your little ones could bring hand made cards, Items from your garden, hugs, or pictures. Any other suggestions are encouraged and welcomed.

Conferences and class night

Educator conferences will take place from October 19-27, sign up sheets will be posted in the classroom this week. These conferences allow parents to learn about their child's development and interests.

Class night is an opportunity for the educators to present the children's work and ideas.
