Summer School Summer school was huge success with many of our students and staff lead by Deanna and Chuy making June memorable. Students worked hard on oral language, literacy and Math and had a blast! | Mommy and Me 3 year old Classes Several teachers rallied together to host courses for moms of three year olds in order to develop the skills needed for incoming kinder! Topics included Brain-building through interactions with your child • Oral language development • Developing smarter kids with self-control • Nutrition • Pre-reading skills: How to prepare your child to learn to read. Dual Language Teacher Learning 14 Dual Language Teachers traveled to Austin for an intense three-day Biliteracy Training. Our brains and hearts grew as we studied, discussed, bonded and learned. | Social Emotional Learning Training A handful of our SEL team had the opportunity to attend a two day training at the renowned Momentous Institute. So many confirming ideas as well as significant neurological research to support our campus practices. | New Reading adoption! They also first part spent a day learning about how to provide instruction with our new F&P Phonics and Word Study kits. and got their kit organized and ready for use. |

Eagles Participated in Readers Theatre SUPER PROUD of ALL of these Bush Eagles who spent this week of summer at a Reader's Theatre Camp where they read for at least 60 minutes a day and worked on building their fluency, comprehension and overall life skills of listening and communicating with each other in a play. | Title 1 Nights Families participated in engaging hands on Science activities learning about space, the rainforest, and creating an art piece! |
