Reminders
SCHOOL SAFETY-Here are a few safety reminders:
Parents are reminded not to walk their students to class. The only students who walk to class with parents are AU and Ms. Billow’s pre-k students. We appreciate your cooperation.
Parents should never take a student from the caroool area for any reason. If you are walking up to pick up your child, he/she is a front door walker and should be picked up at the doors near the art room/media center. Be sure your child's teacher is aware and have your McAlpine car tag with you.
McAlpine car tags must be visible at all times in the carpool line. See the front office if you need one.
CAFETERIA-
Please sign in and sit at the parent table if you are joining your child for lunch. Students may have one friend join them if there is sufficient room at the parent table.
We need a cafeteria monitor. Please contact the school if you or someone you know is interested.
Remember to coordinate with your child's teacher if you plan to bring treats for lunch. These must be store-bought with a label that includes allergy information.
RECESS-Students may go outside as long as the temperature is above freezing. Please make sure children are dressed appropriately on cold days.
Homework
Reading Homework Due every Friday! This will count towards a homework grade on report cards. Subject area will not be graded for the grade book, just completion .
