No Audio in Zoom for Students.....Here is what to do.....
Our Tech Department shared with us the fix for any student not having audio during Zoom. Please follow the directions below:
Please download the newest version of Chrome. This is available in the Self Service Portal. This is the only way students can install or update software. To find the Self Service Portal, you can click the magnifying glass in the top right hand corner of the screen and type in "self service".
Once you have downloaded Chrome you will need to make sure that it is set as your default browser. You do this by going to System Preferences, selecting General and then about halfway down the screen you will see Default web browser and select Google Chrome. At this point you will want to quit all browsers and then relaunch Chrome.
After opening chrome you will want to go back to your Zoom Link for the class you are trying to join.
After selecting the Zoom link you will see a pop-up asking to open in Zoom.us you will select Cancel. Then you will select Join in Browser.
Once that is done and you are in zoom, click Join Audio and give the mic and speakers access.
After selecting either Join Audio or Start Video you may be presented with another pop-up.
You will select Allow at this point. (see picture above)

| The Schoology and PowerSchool training will be held by our lead technology teachers in the district, Mrs. Henry and Mr. Moyer. Parents will be able to ask questions in the Zoom chat during the meeting. |
| Meal Distribution Pottsgrove School District |
Pottsgrove School District will be offering meal pickups at Pottsgrove Middle School and Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School. Meal pickup will be available on the first school day of each week with two blocks of time to chose from. 10am - 12 and 6:00-7:30pm.
If you are interested in applying for the free and reduced lunch program, district social workers will be available on Saturday, September 12 from 10am until 12pm to assist with applications.
If you have specific questions please reach out to the social workers and please see the attached letter below as it applies to free and reduced lunch.
