He started the Haitian Revolution. So if their was no Toussaint their is no Revolution. He also lead the slaves in there upright the picture on the right is him as a general.The Haitian Revolution, was a successful anti-slavery and anti-colonial insurrection that took place in the former French colony of Saint Dominigue that lasted from 1791 until 1804. It impacted the institution of slavery throughout the Americas

Toussaint Louverture was a ruler a general he wanted equality for everyone. He was born on May, 20, 1743. He was lead his army in 1793. It took place in the former French colony of Saint Dominigue. He did it because he wanted everyone to be equal. How did he do it he is only one guy? He did it with the help of the other slaves who wanted to be free.
