Safety Update
* Code Yellow and Code Red Drills - Students and staff are well versed on procedures by practicing these drills.
* Locked door system - All classroom doors remain locked during the school day. Only those with a key or badge are allowed into the classroom.
* Classroom Visits - Administration is visiting each classroom to review safety procedures and practice the code drills.
* Counseling Corner - Our counselor is conducting guidance lessons on "See Something, Say Something" with each 3rd, 4th and 5th grade class. The emphasis will be on letting an adult know if they see anything that could be harmful to themselves or others.
Much more goes on behind the scenes with the support of our school system administration, law enforcement and our staff. If you have any concerns or suggestions, please do not hesistate to contact me (lesley.goodwin@cowetaschools.net).
