WHICH COLOR ABSORBS THE MOST HEAT?
By Jordi Molins & Gerard Vecino
BACKGROUND RESEARCH
We have searched about the chemistry of colors and we found the following: The color we see in objects... is product of the reflection of light. Each color reflects light differently. For example: white is the color that absorbs the less heat because it reflects most of the light and absorbs no light. On the other side, black is the color which absorbs the most of the light, causing it to heat up faster (we know that light is energy).
HYPOTHESIS
If we heat up different colors in a fair test, the darkest color will heat up the most.
