All the Kids, All the Shoes
Circle G Ministry

All the Kids, All the Shoes
Every year, my mom and I go to the Philippines to see our family and celebrate our hometown festival. This year, we added a new element... we took four huge duffels of kids shoes, provided by some incredible folks at Peace Haven Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro, NC. It was a pretty awesome day. Prior to, we posted a sign stating we’d be giving away shoes on a first come, first served basis, starting at 9am. We handed out numbers as the kids arrived. The first little boy, assigned the #1, showed up at 5am. We ran out of shoes long before we ran out of kids, but 239 beautiful little people walked away in brand new shoes. One little boy told me that he couldn’t sleep that next night because he was just so excited about his new shoes. I said all that to say this—THANK YOU. Our ministry is perhaps a little nontraditional, and we are so humbled by your trust in us. Thank you for sending us out to serve, whether it’s in a tiny village in the Philippines, a big arena in California, or a country church in West Virginia. We just want as many precious people as possible to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, and we couldn’t do any of it without your faithful support.

Nanay Pili
Every year, I look forward to seeing my Nanay Pili, my grandpa’s youngest sister. She is so generous! She brought us a live chicken to cook. We named him Kuya Adobo...but then it laid an egg so we had to rename her Ate Adobo. Of couse, since she laid an egg, we all felt too guilty to eat her. Well played, Ate Adobo, well played.

Wednesdays at Wikel
We absolutely love our pastor, his wife, and our home church, Wikel Community Baptist. BJ had the privilege of leading the Wednesday night Bible Studies in January and February. We learned a lot about the book of Exodus with some of our favorite people in all of the world.

One Last Time
Just want to say it again....THANK YOU. Your friendship and support make all the difference in the world to Circle G Ministry. We love you forever! --BJ and Maryanne Grimmett

About Circle G Ministry
Directed by BJ and Maryanne Grimmett, Circle G is a 501(c)3 non-profit ministry dedicated to reaching as many people as possible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this through both traditional church ministry (revivals, special services, youth rallies) and equestrian evangelism (horsemanship clinics, rides, and cowboy church services). It all comes down to this...reviving the church and reaching the lost with the love of Jesus.
