OES 4K Registration & Orientation Event February 2nd
NOSD 2021 Preschool Screening Option
This is not to be confused with our 4K Registration and Orientation Evening scheduled February 2.
Parents please try to label your child's winter gear - especially snowpants, jackets, and boots with your child's first /last name. Items get misplaced and we don't know the owner!
Parking Lot Reminders:
- Only the student should be exiting or entering the car (unless needing assistance out of a car seat buckle or harness) to allow for quicker departure. Don't leave your car doors open as a safety precaution for cars exiting in the left lane.
- PLEASE NOTE: Students exit/enter on right side of vehicle curbside (not into traffic on left side). *Please move car seat/booster seat to the right side of vehicle if possible. THIS IS A BIG SAFETY CONCERN as cars & buses move past on the left side! Don't leave your car doors open as a safety precaution for cars exiting in the left lane.
- Watch for other cars & buses as you pull away from the curb to exit and travel in the left lane. Yield to buses!

VERY IMPORTANT COVID REMINDERS
In the event your child or someone in your home is being tested for COVID, please keep your child home until test results are known. It is recommended that direct family members (including other students at school) also stay home. Please notify the District Nurse of your results. Your child/children should engage in remote learning until a back to school date has been determined.
-Per the Washington/Ozaukee Health Department
Why is washing our face masks so important?
Washing your mask is just as important, if not MORE important, than washing any article of clothing. We don’t know exactly how long viruses and bacteria can live on fabrics, but some experts feel it may be up to 8-12 hours on a cloth mask! Imagine after a long day of mask-wearing how many germs you could possibly have on your mask! Yuck. You don’t want to put that dirty mask back on your face.
How often should I wash my mask?
The best practice would be to wash your mask after every use. Wash your mask as often as you can, daily is best! It would be best to have several masks so that you will always have a clean one daily, even when the others are dirty or being washed.
For more information you can go to the CDC website OR check this out Mask washing information
