Student Teach Abroad!
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Program Description:
A semester in Rio! This College of Education-only program gives its students the opportunity to fulfill their student teaching commitments at an American school right in the heart of the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Students spend the semester living and student teaching at the Our Lady of Mercy School (OLM), an American accredited K-12 bilingual school located in the quiet central neighborhood of Botafogo in Rio.
The vibrant city of Rio is the capital of the state of Rio de Janeiro and the second largest city in Brazil. Known for its beaches and stunning scenery, Rio was the host of the 2014 World Cup for soccer and will be for the 2016 Olympics.
