What is Geothermal Energy?
Geothermal energy is where they use the heat from deep under the earth to generate electricity, it is renewable, their is so much of it that they can keep using it practically forever. It is found in volcanoes, hot springs, and geysers. But you cannot see most geothermal energy. Usually geothermal energy is deep underground. Geothermal power plants use steam from water heated underground to spin turbine blades that create electricity. It has a lot of uses some are used for heating up greenhouses, crop and timber drying, and prawn farming. It is definitly a renewable resource. Geothermal power plants use steam from water heated underground to spin turbine blades that create electricity. The most expensive part of engineered geothermal energy is drilling the wells it cost around 5 million dollars, but it will help the world in the long run. Global community uses Geothermal energy. Global community is where people use Geothermal energy and try to make the world go green and try use less fossil fuels and coal.
This is how it works
Shows where they use Geothermal energy
California, Utah, Hawaii, and Neveda use the most Geothermal energy in the U.S..
