Update
In light of the concern surrounding the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) health crisis and the District's mission of student and staff safety as its top priority, we will continue to share information and updates with our Strongsville City Schools community.
Click HERE for the page on our District’s website (www.strongnet.org) which we will continue to update with important communication. The page includes a link to ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ and additional important resources from the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, the Ohio Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.
As a school district, during this extended break we have decided that we will provide educational suggestions to our students and families. All teachers will provide a communication to their students and/or parents as to these educational suggestions via their website, Google Classroom, Unified Classroom, or email. Again, there will be not be work assigned during this break. Below are additional resources provided by the SMS Voyager Team.
The most important thing is for our students and families to stay healthy. Please follow the guidelines from local health agencies, including washing hands with soap and water regularly, keeping hands away from your face, staying away from crowded places, and by not visiting those who are more susceptible to the virus. All of us in the Strongsville City School District care deeply about our families and community and want everyone to remain healthy.
Continue to monitor your email for updates.
Thank you!

7th grade families M.S. 2.0
7th grade Families,
With schools being closed over the next few weeks, I wanted to provide you with some Digital School Counseling Resources for Students/Parents that can be used to assist in supporting students' academic, social/emotional, and career development.
Additionally, students who were in Middle School 2.0 in Quarters 1, 2, & 3 had the opportunity to complete a career assessment called the "Career Key" using a website called Naviance. The Career Key is a career assessment for middle and high school students based on Holland's interest codes. Career Key's matching system enables students to identify careers and college majors that match their interests, traits, skills and abilities.
For students who have not yet completed this assessment this school year, I would encourage you to do so over the next few weeks. The assessment only takes 10-15 minutes. You will need to reset your Naviance password to take the assessment. Here are the directions on how to do so: Naviance Career Key Directions
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions. eray@scsmustangs.org
Thanks everyone and stay healthy!
